Advanced Medical Aesthetics Center (AMAC) is the first training institution to combine comprehensive training courses for laser with intensive training in the profession of injectables. AMAC is owned and operated by two well-known distinguished plastic surgeons, Dr. Ben Lee and Dr. Jeffrey Raval. Both physicians have tremendously successful aesthetic practices located in Denver, Colorado.

AMAC offers small intensive classes taught by highly qualified and well trained specialists who provide innovative instruction from practical knowledge. Our focus is on students who are interested in learning advanced medical treatments and growing their experience to incorporate additional revenue to their current practice or launching a new business opportunity.

We offer classes are accredited through the Colorado Department of Higher Ed and we are required to adhere to a rigid set of guidelines making your educational experience superior in every way.

About AMAC

Advanced Medical Aesthetics Center is a national training facility that offers advanced skin aesthetic educational courses. AMAC students will receive proficiency in the finest technology and equipment for advanced studies in skin care and comprehensive laser training in a medical spa setting.
The statistics released in early 2011 by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons show that 13.1 million cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, including those that are minimally invasive or surgical, were performed in the United States in 2010, up from 5% in 2009. In addition, more than 5.3 million reconstructive plastic surgery procedures were performed , up 2% from 2009. The top five surgical procedures were:

  • Breast augmentation (296,000)
  • Nose reshaping (252,000)
  • Eyelid surgery (209,000)
  • Liposuction (203,000)
  • Tummy Tuck (116,000)

Minimal invasive cosmetic procedures increased 5% with nearly 11.6 million procedures in 2010. The top five minimally invasive procedures were:

  • Botulium toxin type A (5.4 million)
  • Soft tissue filler (1.8 million)
  • Chemical peel (1.1 million)
  • Laser hair removal (938,000)
  • Microdermabrasion (825,000)

Upon completing an AMAC training course the individual has proficiency in basic theory, areas of treatment, safety issues, recognize contraindications, identify and treat complications, develop protocols, learn specific procedural treatments, acquire the skill to perform procedures, and obtain communication techniques for the use in client consultations.
